FAQ
Your prompts never leave your browser.
All processing for core tools runs locally in your browser. Privacy policy
- Do you store my prompts on a server?
- No. Tool drafts, custom templates, and version snapshots stay in browser localStorage. We do not offer cloud sync or accounts for prompt content.
- Will you add AI prompt rewrite?
- Not by default. Optional AI features would require an explicit opt-in and a clear notice that data leaves the browser.
- Do I need an account?
- No. There is no signup for core tools. Everything runs locally in your browser.
- How does Prompt Workbox relate to TokenWorkbox and MDWorkbox?
- Prompt Workbox is the prompt assembly station in the Workbox series. MDWorkbox helps clean Markdown source; TokenWorkbox does Exact token counts, cost estimates, and chunking. From the Editor or Cleaner you can send the current prompt to TokenWorkbox.
- How do drafts and templates work?
- The Editor autosaves drafts in localStorage. Templates and version snapshots also stay on your device. Clearing site data in the browser removes them.
- Can I export prompts for an API?
- Yes. Export plain text, Markdown, or ChatML JSON you can paste into OpenAI-compatible APIs. You can also copy cleaned prompts or full ChatML payloads.
- Is analytics or advertising included?
- Core prompt tools do not send your prompt text to analytics. If privacy-friendly analytics or ads are enabled later, the Privacy page will be updated and any third-party scripts disclosed.
- Where is the blog?
- Product updates and tips are published at /blog. Reading the blog does not require an account.
