Auto-detect works for most pastes. Force a format if detection picks the wrong parser.

How to use

  1. Paste your source on the left (JSON, ChatGPT copy, or Markdown turns).
  2. Leave format on Auto-detect, or pick a specific parser.
  3. Click Parse and review the role cards on the right.
  4. Open in Editor to continue with tokens, export, or lint — nothing is uploaded.

FAQ

Is imported text uploaded?

No. Parsing runs entirely in your browser. Opening in the Editor only writes a local draft.

What is OpenAI data export vs ChatML JSON?

ChatML JSON is a messages array (or an object with a messages field). Data export conversations include a mapping tree from ChatGPT’s export ZIP.

What if Auto-detect fails?

Pick the matching format manually. Plain text always imports as a single user message (or text mode).
